INTERIOR
This architect's townhouse on the outskirts of Hamburg has been carefully planned. You enter the house through a small hallway, which is directly adjacent to the guest toilet. Wet shoes, coats and jackets can ideally be stored here. It then continues on to the living hall, which is followed by an open kitchen in modern anthracite with a chic half-high partition. Via a level that is offset downwards (split-level), one looks into the living and dining area, which therefore has a higher room height.
From "up here" one can look out through the large window into the garden and the surrounding open landscape. A wooden staircase leads to the first floor with two bedrooms (currently used as children's room and study), large bathroom with bathtub and a bay-like work area with a view of the almost endless fields.
The real highlight of the house is the 2nd floor. Here, the master bedroom with exposed white beams and gallery is located. Ceiling heights of up to 4 m, an en-suite bathroom, walk-in closet and the breathtaking sunset are some of the eye-catchers. The chic wooden staircase with steel details leads to the gallery where you can read, watch the stars or just relax. Further details are: Velux wooden roof windows with integrated sun protection as well as built-in spots.
One can see how the interior of this house stands out from other houses. Here, the split levels, but also the diagonals are important to mention. A successful combination of functionality and variety.
A lot of white, gray and natural wood provide brightness and a chic, holistic look. The focus also falls onto the formal language without neglecting the standard of comfort. Anyone who loves the Scandinavian style of living will feel immediately at home.
OTHER
The building is half-built with a basement and, among other things, it provides a lot of storage space, the gas heater from Junkers (1994) is located here, as well as a laundry room with connections and a window. In front of the house there are two parking spaces and a garden shed. In the garden, a tree house invites the children to play and a fire place the adults to barbecue over an open fire.
The house consists of 150 m² living space, 22 m² usable space and a plot of 269 m². Ready to move in from August.
EXTERIOR
This townhouse located in Ammersbek / Hamburg-Bergstedt is based on Dutch and Danish role models. The street-side façade with diagonally attached one- and one-and-a-half-story stems with saddle resp. pent roof loosens the front of the building decisively. The back is rather classically austere, also enlivened by a bay on the 1st floor. This facade shape is joined by material that is or was typical of the region. Classic red clinker on the garden floor contrasts with dark parts on the upper floors.
Material that withstands wind and weather. The color contrast black-white, multicolored-achromatic is lively, especially due to the white of the doors and windows. The house embodies the north. Clinker, slate, natural stone paving etc. with a view of the typical wide landscape with meadows, hedges, ditches and green fields. Pure idyll right on the outskirts of Hamburg (by the way, the border between Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein runs exactly through the property). It is fairly easy to call this place your new home!
LOCATION
Ammersbek / Hamburg-Bergstedt is located in the northern parts of Hamburg and due to its connection to the underground line U1 (stop Hoisbüttel) one can easily exchange the cozy countryside life to the pulsating scenery on the Jungfernstieg in just over 45 minutes. In addition, Hamburg Airport can be reached in just 22 minutes and Timmendorfer Strand in 45 minutes. If one wants to enjoy the advantages of the surroundings, the small center of Volksdorf, with its very nice weekly market, fine cuisine at the Dorfkrug restaurant and the popular pond meadows, is only a short drive away. Or just step out the front door and enjoy the Nordic landscape while jogging, walking or cycling. Haus Beekloh - a true idyll between the city and the countryside.
